Day 1: Woke up, sprained my ankle eating crackers. Took pain killers. Went out foraging for sticks. Sprained my wrist walking on flat snow. Took pain killers. Very strong, immediate relief. Nice! Got home, tried to read. Double vision. Went to bed.

Day 2: Woke up, ate, had some water, sprained my ankle drinking. Took pain killers. Sprained my wrist drinking. Took pain killers. Went out fishing. Sprained my other ankle fishing. Took pain killers. Lost focus many times. Fell down, sprained my wrist. Took pain killers. Spoke to some trees.

Day 3: Woke up. Not sure how I got home. Boots on hands. Too many pain killers yesterday. Sprained my wrist thinking. Took pain killers. Went out hunting. Sprained my ankle harvesting. Took pain killers. Very happy, skipped home, sprained my wrist. Took pain killers. Very, very happy. Sprained something else. Don’t care.

Day 4: Woke up. Took pain killers. Went outside, looked at sun. Sprained my wrist looking. Took pain killers. Don’t care about food, only pain killers. Took more in case of a sprain. So very happy in the sun. Counted my pain killers. Named them. They are nice. So few though. Sprained my ankle liking them. Took more. Vomited.

Day 5: Woke up. Took pain killers. Stood in the room. Drank. Took more pain killers. Somewhat happy, no pain. Sprained my wrist and ankle taking pain killers. Took pain killers. Feeling uneasy, shaky. More pain killers for nerves. Not helping. Need food. Too tired to cook. Feeling nauseous. Bottle is empty.

Day 6: Woke up covered in sweat. No pain killers. Very unhappy. Went out and shot everything with legs. Sprained my ankle. Shot more animals. Really angry at my hat. Shot it. Sprained my wrist. Can’t shoot. Hate this frozen hell. Cold sweats. Wish I had pain killers. Cried a lot. Poor bunnies. I hate me.

Day 7: Woke up soaked in sweat. Very depressed. Scratched until I bled, sprained my wrist scratching. Crawled outside, collapsed, sprained everything, twice. Prayed for pain killers. Sprained both wrists and ankles in fervent prayer. Fluffy called out that he had some. Re-sprained my ankle loping to him. He didn’t have any. Sprained my wrist dying.

Ok. THANK YOU! I was just wondering what the crap happened just the other day during gameplay when I was walking on flat snow and suffered a sprain. It was one of those, "HOW in Hades did that just happen?! Are you SERIOUS?" So, not only could I relate, but I was ROFL as well by the end.

  2. I enjoy this game. Hands down. It is complete. Sure, one can always add, but what makes it a "complete" experience to me is seeing how responsive this company is to feedback that I've seen. Also, please consider that, when players suggest things, it is more often than not about enthusiasm, not criticism. It's the excitement of getting into what this game is about and saying, "Wait! Wouldn't it be cool to add..." That's what I want to express. Realizing that any additional/new idea (if it is decided to be added) will involve all that it will to make it happen, I wish to say that I too hope you all enjoy a much deserved (& needed) rest. Don't be disheartened. Anytime one goes to do something, there will always be those who go beyond constructive feedback, and there is a difference. The fact that you have listened to & added and included content in response to your fan base is proof more than enough of your commitment. There are plenty of games out there that are put out by companies "as is" with little to no regard to their fan base. You are no such company. I appreciate what you have done with this game, and I look forward to exploring every aspect of it. Now, stop reading this, and go get some rest! Your eye icon is drooping. LOL  ;-)

    Curing Hides, Guts, and Saplings

To cure hides, guts, and saplings simply drop them in an indoor location or cave. If the location is one where curing can occur you will see "0% cured" when you look at the dropped hide, gut, or sapling. All indoor locations will cure hides/guts/saplings. Only some caves will. If the cave has a transition map to get inside it will cure hides/guts/saplings. For caves that are on the main map, placing the item to be cured at the very back should be fine. If you're ever unsure, again, remember to look at the item to verify that it says "x% cured".

Also, be patient! Many items take 4+ days to cure.

Thank you! LOL I had the original "Sandbox" version only, and I was beginning to fear that I would perish simply from trying to learn the newer features and aspects. I've been looking on how, exactly, one goes about the curing process. Appreciate that. I keep having to hit the Esc key to learn the key assignments in the midst of so many new things. I am excited, however. I just got to see the lights at dawn, and I am thus far making it! I did choose the easiest level to get acquainted with this all. Couldn't be happier.

  4. Emotional. Gripping. Stunning. Poignant even. I've watched this several times, and it all just fits together seamlessly. I am looking forward to this. Unfortunately, I have come late in the game & only have the original sandbox version that one could download free.  I have played it, and it is everything I have looked for in this genre without those things which I consider "silly nonsense" that I've found in others. It's pure & at the core of surviving without all these "outs" others provide. The graphics...are perfect. I've actually gone up into one of the look outs on more than one occasion just to experience a sunset/sunrise. LOL Who does that in a game? Yet, this game draws you in ways other survival games left out & never thought of. Ever watch the trees sway or hear the owl hoot? So, I connected to so much of what was being said in this narrative & not just in relation to the surviving aspect. It's complete. Obviously, this means I will be budgeting in this release post haste. *grin* Yet, I will be holding on to that first one. Well, ...just because.
