Weather changes, locations and other stuff in logfiles

Hello,

I'd love to see changes of the weather condition in the logfile. The game does obiviously something to change the weather, why not log it? It would also be cool if a location we visited would be logged every time, not just the first time we've discovered it. Would made for a more interesting read. For example:

Day 60:

Made it to day 60

05:56 Dawn, Camp Office Cabin, Calm Winds, -7°

06:22 Woke up after sleeping 2 hours

10:45 Entered Clear Cut

10:53 Killed a Wolf

11:55 Strong Winds, -15°

12:15 Blizzard, -15°

12:29 Encumbered

13:01 Entered Cabin in Logging Camp

13:56 Ate Lake Whitefish (Raw).

13:56 Not Starving

14:50 Light winds, 2°

15:30 Entered Train Loading Area

16:02 Drank 0.61 L potable water.

...

Because right now we only see what we did, which is quite general and to be honest, boring. Most interesting parts are the ones concerning wolves - but you never see where they were, which would made it easier to remember things and learn from mistakes. Coordinates are also already available so they too could be logged with "interesting" events.

For the beta or final version it would also be cool to be able to add entries manually to the log. It's already available read only ingame, can't be that difficult to make it writeable I think.

And if you really wanna go crazy: Given that sandbox will still be available in the final release, an incentive to play it could be to create an automated story out of our adventures. Be it a daily journal with pictures of wolves we killed (or killed us), new locations we discovered, near death conditions, calm beautiful moments and ultimately our memorable death, or short video sequences taken out of the playthrough, think replay videos in racegames.

If done right it could be a huge success for this alone, people sharing their stories not written in forums but in a video on youtube. The data would still come from the logfiles, so not much would have to be changed in the game, only an additional module needs to be scripted. The journal version would certainly be easier ;)
