It just happened to me on a massive snow storm during night in Forsaken Airfield - Drift Island snow shelter, I barely managed to escape after almost half an hour quitting and reloading the game. Few times I managed to get out of the shelter, but the mouse was locked on forward direction with a very narrow angle to turn left or right. I had to make a fire next to a tree, pass one hour to save and then reload.
  3. Same error after waiting for more than 5 GB download and restarting Steam, computer ...
  4. Not just you. When I entered first time the connecting cave in Keeper's Pass (South to North), there was a human body in the large room. Coming back (same day) the body disappeared, but there was a deer carcass that I did not even touch. One (in game) day later also this one disappeared. There are plenty of bugs in this update.
  5. A short update to this topic: I managed to open it again (after just 3 nights of waiting) and this time I started manufacturing gunpowder and noisemakers. Next day the doors started to open normally, without an aurora. My guess is that if I did not interact with anything indoor the workshop (I just entered and had a look around, rushing afterwards to elevators), it did not trigger the door as being opened. So probably a bug.
  6. I found the code, waited almost a (in-game) week for an aurora, I entered and then exit to see if elevators are working during aurora (no luck, though). Following day I tried to enter the workshop to make some ammunition and the door is locked again. Is this a bug or a "feature"? Is it supposed to be accessible only during aurora? What if you get locked inside? Thanks!

My 2 cents on the topic: if you already have 2 wolf skin coats, go for the bear bedroll: it acts as a wolf deterrent (personally verified with the timberwolves, as well), has an excellent warmth bonus (when in good condition) and also offers a higher recovery rate when slipping (similar to indoor beds; the regular bedroll offers lower recovery rate). The tactical backpack makes it much easier now to transport it. Giving the stamina penalty of the bear coat and the insignificant gain over the wolfskins coat in terms of warmth, it doesn't make too much sense in early game, when the bearskins are more limited resources vs the wolfskins. Because of the high decay rate, I usually use it when going in areas without too many man-made buildings (HRV, FM, TWM, Ravine or AC).
  8. Excited as well about the news! I hope the region will be available with the Halloween event (if any) and the Episode 4 released before Christmas (wishful thinking) :) Having the name Blackrock and the visuals from the image, I am expecting a region more like the Ash Canyon (different altitude areas) but with a lot of extra man-made stuff. The power lines suggest extensive use of electricity inside the Blackrock: areas access codes that have to be hunted for, doors accessed and electric tools active only during auroras, potentially new items (looking at McKenzie's boots that doesn't look like any in the game). And yes, it does look like a shorter rifle on McKenzie's back, though does not make sense to me to have additional guns. Let's wait and see.
