  1. Hello fellow survivors! I was doing some browsing on the forums and couldn't find anything recent (December 2021 was the last) about the lack of new locations under the "Surveyed Locations" list. I was running through ZoC and trying to map as many locations as I could on my Interloper run, only to go look to see how many I had left to realize that there wasn't even a list there. In the Dec 2021 post there was an admin that said there was a plan to add Blackrock to the list, but I can assume since it's not there that it hasn't been done yet. Has there been any movement to add the other new locations to the list of Surveyed Locations? Appreciate the time to answer when you get around to it!

  3. I do have a question for this though. For the last update I had things stored in the lockers in the Preppers Abandoned Cache in Plesant Valley. Those items were lost during the update due to things being moved around in that room. Is there a risk of other items being lost due to things moving like that? If so, any chance of the areas where that might happen? It really hurt losing all of that stuff on my interloper run.

  5. Hello survivors! I can only assume a lot of you have been playing a lot more lately with the addition of Episode 4 and the new Tales much like I have. I was looking through the wish list and saw a few others mentioning adding specific bits of music here and there, and it got me thinking about this. Would it be possible to add a toggle option to add Wintermute music to survival? It would add things like "Stalked by Wolves" and "The Timberwolf" from Wintermute into Survival to give that extra bit of "Oh crap", plus add the Wintermute sound track so that we can have that extra music playing while surviving in the "Quiet" apocalypse. With it being a toggle option it would be easy enough to turn on and off for those who did, or didn't like it. Just a thought! Any other opinions?
  6. Crystal lake on TWM. There's always food nearby be it wolves, deer, bear, or moose. There's the ability to fish right out the door, and the building with the workbench just makes it so easy to use that area to survive. Granted you might need to bring a little matieral with you (metal, cloth, ect.), but I always feel at ease there. Gorgeous views as well.
  7. Late to the party, but still. The only thing I've had an issue with up to this point is that Interloper was left out of the last update of the Tales, but you and your team fixed that very quickly. While it sucks to hear that the 8-10 week update period is a bust, at the same time that's understandable. You set a goal, tried to attain it, and didn't quite reach it. These things happen, but at least you took it upon yourself to reach out to let everyone know instead of just making people wait and wait with no information like many game companies do. I think I can safely say that many of us have always appreciated the fact that Hinterland is up front about issues and are honest with us when things happen. I will still be here when the next updates come out. Who knows, maybe after not being so rushed to make the 8-10 week release date happen things will naturally come at a faster pace. Some people work well under pressure, some don't. Eagerly awaiting to see what you have in store for us next!
  8. So, I was JUST dealing with this issue and was browsing the forums to look for an answer. I didn't find one, so i went back to my game. Got mad at the bear carcass and threw a lit torch at it. The torch boucned off. I looked and the carcass was suddenly harvestable. I don't know if the game checked for a collision of the torch of the carcass and that did something that brought it back? I've had this issue a few times, I'll have to try this again next time to see if it works again.
  9. I killed two moose in Bleak Inlet in the same corner within 2 in game days of each other. Was the strangest thing, not that I'm gonna' complain.
  10. I've noticed this as well. It's the snow shelters. It sounds like them collapsing in on themselvs (This is what I've figured it to be, at least). If you check the life on the snow shelters they're at zero percent. I think it's just the game loading them in at a specific distance, and since they're not usable it plays that noise. Walk back a little bit then walk forward towards it again and it will play the sound over and over.
  11. To be honest? Dodging the timberwolves while hunting for the bunker in Bleak Inlet. Never have I thought those Marine Flares burnt out so fast than that night, haha. I'm looking forward to finding out more of the story that came with the files found in the bunkers.
  12. I thought it wasn't as well. There was a post where the dev's said they would put something in the last bunker to make it worthwhile to Interloper runners, and I found that in one of the cabinets by the bed in the final bunker, so I thought maybe that was one of the things they were talking about. Also why I wanted to reach out and see what others were finding to see what there might be overall!
  13. Greetings survivors! So I just finished Signal Void on Interloper and I was going to hop on and see what others had found, but I didn't see a topic about this yet (My apologies if there was one!). What did you all find (Interloper only) when rummaging through the bunkers? I ended up finding an Aviator Cap and a Technical Balaclava. Both of these were better than the rabbit skin hat and the toque, so a win is a win in my book! What did you all find?
  14. I have not. With all the large updates going on and everything else the devs are working on I figured they would get to it when they could.
  15. I reported this probably 8 months ago with a video and telling them exactly what was causing it. I'm a bit sad it still hasn't been fixed.
