First play through I did I spared the prisoner, but I’ve just redone all the episodes so that I can get all the side missions etc which I didn’t do the first time round and this time I thought f@*# it I will kill the prisoner to see if anything changes!

This is very true! Wonder where on the maps black rock is meant to be? Or do you think it will be a new map entirely?

Hey everyone! My name is aimz. I’m from the uk. And I just love this game. I’m not even a gamer. My daughter saw a YouTuber playing this game and asked me to get it for her. She was struggling to survive for very long and asked me to help. I’m now completely obsessed 😂. I started with a sandbox game. And lasted about 50 days before my first death. Then I decided I would do the episodes. Went through them pretty quickly but didn’t complete all the side missions. I then worked on the challenges and that definitely helped improve my skills. Managed to complete as the dead sleep in about 9 days which I was pretty chuffed with. What a challenge! im now redoing the episodes so I can complete all the side missions too. Just starting episode 3 again this week and literally cannot wait for ep4 to come out. I find myself so immersed. The music, the scenery, the idea of a geomagnetic post apocalyptic survival scenario is definitely floating my boat. There is just something about the wilderness and slowness of the game that keeps me occupied for ages. thank you hinterland for this game and thank you for having me on the forum.

Did you keep trying? I hope so...... I found these parts particularly challenging but turning the button to the press and hold option definitely helps, the tapping was hurting my hands, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of you tubers showing me how 😂. I hate it when the bear gets you, the noise is horrifying and I have to mute the sound lol. it’s definitely worth getting through though. I loved episode 3 and am eagerly awaiting ep 4 now. You can do it. You’ll feel so pleased when it’s done

I was thinking we might play as Mackenzie first and go through dam to PV.....up to signal hill to get the wintermute message out for Jeremiah. mathis said to Mackenzie that he would soon be with the woman he dealt with, initially you get the impression he is referring to Astrid, but now I’m thinking it could have been molly? Is she dead? I did think that maybe Mackenzie would have to go up twm for some reason? Maybe get something from the summit... then they’ve released this stuff about the prison....so does Mathis take Mackenzie to the penitentiary and that’s where you start? Astrid seems like she might start off in CH and maybe go to DP.....there is a light house there and in bleak inlet, so will there be a reason to travel through the ravine to bleak inlet and to the light house there or the cannery for some reason? Otherwise why would they have these regions? im guessing ash canyon must come into it to at some point im still trying to work out which way is north on the main map, I’ve always assumed twm/ash canyons were the most northerly points, but Astrid isn’t heading north, .....unless I have this all wrong? whatever happens I can’t wait for ep 4. Super excited!
