  1. After playing Signal Void, I am interested in this story now after the failure of the launch and I could see that they started to shape a lore that shows that Aurora and Glimmer Fog may have sinister backstory. The logs themselves from the four bunkers shows that there seems to be a sinister machine somewhere on the island, and the Mine seem to have more and more importance to the story of TFT.
  2. Can you fix the problem of the Black Rock map and pollards not showing up in the surveyed locations in Survival mode.
  3. An idea I see that could be brewing from the television idea is that some TVs work but are broken with static but special TVs have programs that are stuck on during the time the tv was on before the Event. These programs could be survival tips if the tv was on a survival show, cooking if a cooking show, or a location that you have not found, for example a commercial for the cabins at Mystery Lake and you can mark down that location on the map and region to unlock. A tv could give lore like the computers or a special tv can give you a hint for a new region. A tv, for example in cabin in CH, has a commercial telling the player about a scenic route (transition route) to a new region that high in the mountains. It could appear before the Auroa TV but it a see and you miss it entrance. This gives players a look of the entrance to the route before putting it on the map and it random set locations like the polaroids.
  4. I agree with that idea, but I think the BRM to HRV is the better option out of the two as, the gold mine track once led to a region out of BRM. I also see a map that could connect Bleak Inlet as a good place to see as the road keeps on going at the western end of that map. I could see that another map could be place at the end of it and it also connects to BR which is a small dead-end map that is not really worth the trouble to go to. The forge is nice, and FM is a pain to traverse but DP is the best to go to even though it further away. Having a connecting part to a new map would be nice to have and makes it a better connecting region than a dead end.
  5. A good region idea would be a large ruin area that could have one point connected to Coastal Highway and Desolation Point by road and rail. The area would have several rail lines running through it with some roads, but all in ruin. A large railyard could be in this region with some buildings like a manager office, round house, work shed (no workshop), and a few cottages/ cabins scatter around. The area main region aspect would be two things, A large location of coal, and during Auroa, the place becomes dangerous as the locomotives produce electricity that could make the rail yard and the region dangerous to travel if not careful. Maybe a new clothing item could be introduced, like a mine helmet which could give protection and lights up, but either during Auroa or use lantern fuel but it a fuel guzzler not during Auroa. What do you think?
  6. Okay, I do not like challenges, and I could have worded my post better. The problem is I am a customer/ player who does not want things like a full region lock out of me where either a feature that should be in vanilla is locked out by a paid wall or "Season Pass" gets more updates than Vanilia as they stated there going to give Vanilia little updates that may force people to buy DLC like other games.
  7. I like the game and what they do, and I am happy that Survival Mode and Wintermute are being separated, but I do not like the idea of a season pass with new regions lock behind a pay wall, I do not mind challenges, but if a new region is added, do I have to fear that the new region is going to be lock behind a pay wall.
  8. 1) I am shock that someone would use my points to support their theory, I feel happy about that 2) Well after this resent update, We been to Blackrock prison. I do stick with much of what I said back then, and this update just added to it. 1) The Maintenace Shed in BR is not for locomotive use. a) being a person who has an understanding on how to run a railroad, the Maintenace Shed is is for service trucks, the trucks found on the tracks, one can be found outside of the Carter Hydro Dam. When I mean Maintenace yard and rail yard, I mean for the locomotives that once use the line. 2) The bus was not going to Perseverance Mills, instead for the prison. 3) We are still missing the major places on this island a) No main hospital b) No emergency services c) where tunnels go in Coastal Highway.
  9. I have been to the prison, and place is a reck. Most of the central prison is destroyed but leaves some sort of path to the new ballistic vest. However, the buildings not connected to the main prison are still standing, but most you can't enter.
  10. This map feels off but, in my opinion, I think this map feels a lack of potential. Here are few reasons why. 1) Blackrock Prison feels uncomplete for how big it is. The place has many buildings, yet you can go into one barracks, only the second floor of the infirmary building, a small warehouse, one guard tower, and the main building. The main building feels like a not good place to go to, the only reason you go here is what, one ballistic vest, and that it. You can only go there, the linear route to a vest, Hinterland should have level the prison then. We have many buildings that either you can't enter or its part of the central prison. 2) The mine and the route towards it, is completely worthless. The Last Prospect seem like an interesting place, until you realize that only thing this place is use for is the password to the warehouse with the ammo bench at Blackrock. Then you have no godly reason to return to this place and getting to the place is a pain in the butt. You can't take Mule Bridge because that gone, no you have to take multiple ropes to get to the mine and what for a password. I know noisemakers can be found here, but it just proves my point. The track to the mine is a waste of time. 3) Many useless locations on this map. This map has the great problem of having many locations that either not good shelters or just "locations." a) Power Plant: nothing is here. no good materials can be found here. A wasted end to the Steam Tunnels, the place seems to be setting up for something, but I have no clue for what. b) The many destroyed homes. Jailer's, Forger's, Bricklayer's, none of these locations are good. There off the beaten path, and usually not much is here. c) the many caves: there are more caves here than HRV, Ash Cayon, and Timberwolf combine, I like the many caves, but I feel that there to be there. 4) The weather here is worse than Pleasant Valley. I found the map that beats PV's crazy weather, with many blizzards, and many Auras happen on this map, mind you I played on Pilgrim, weather and aura may be different. In conclusion, this map has lost potential and needs to be flushed out more.
  11. I am not sure what going on with this map, but the doors to the bottom floor of the Infirmary is locked. Where can I find the keep and also a found books in the jailcells are unreachable even though you can reach for them. Blackrock Map cannot be found in the map location finder.
  12. Playing The Long Dark was a big dream to me and getting it on a Epic Games sail was a great steal, but for one of my first runs, I tried to get every map marked and mapped out and I had notice a few things and heard a few theories on it that needed to be talk about. 1) Railroad tracks connected to Perseverance Mills is a very likely once connected in Coastal Highway as there is a tunnel collapse that ends out of the blew, but the tunnel does not seam to be connect to Pleasant Valley. Also Broken Railroad has the maintance shed for the trucks, but the one engine is found in the region, but where are the other engines part of the railroad. There were many crashes across Great Bear but only one real loco, and two trams, it could be that Perseverance Mills has a engine shed/maintance or it is on the mainland. 2) Three many towns that really does not support the islanders that well, only one bank/ post office in Milton and the only garage in Coastal Highway, but no medical services anywhere across the island. It could be possible that Perseverance Mills is a major town with lots of places to explore. 3) There are many roads that lead to bloody no where or have no obvious where they go, which includes Bleak Inlet's Coastal Highway Terminus going North West, Mountain Town's North East Road, and a road that I am going to say is leading to Perseverance Mill is Desolation Point's Broken Bridge. This seems to be the best place where a road once connected the two areas. 4) The ending of Episode 3, we enter a location that seem to look like a revamp Coastal Highway, but the mine is not like the one you go if you enter it in sandbox. I have a theory that was Perseverance Mills is above the Desolation Point, under Ash Canyon on that coast line.
  13. There is a bit of lore in the Angler's Den, the note about he should stay quiet about the miners going to deep. Also the note at Miner's Folly about them finding a HUGE gold find, but there is no gold anywhere and most of mine, like every other mine, has collapse do to decay, which begs the question, when did the Gold Mine close.
  14. Here is the better question to ask, why is there is a map of Coastal Highway in Bleak Inlet to begin with?
