I haven't been on this thread for nearly a year, what happened? I missed something clearly.

Now it doesn't work.

It now lets me boot in, I'm not sure why it now works, but it does! TIME TO SCARE MY PANTS OFF (or is that not what i'm meant to do, maybe i got the order wrong)

I think what you're experiencing is called, "Phantom Bear Syndrome" Very common among Stalker and Interloper players. Go see your doctor, he will prescribe some anti-anxiety meds to take the edge off. Many thanks, Not a doctor

So, I recently got my girlfriend into the long dark (which is the start to any great story). She bought the switch version and has been loving it - genuinely. She constantly goes on about she's really enjoying playing it and that she's especially enjoying working her way through the story mode. The first two episodes were thoroughly enjoyable for her and she moved onto the third episode a couple days ago. We're on a phone call and she, metaphorically speaking, turns to me and asks: "Why is the Pastor asking for all this wood, can't he just use his infinite fire? Is he that lazy?" Hinterland, please fix.

The game mode doesn't launch on PC. It lets you boot into the game, but the second you navigate through to the Escape the Darkwalker mode, then pick your region, gender and save name the game freezes when loading and doesn't let you proceed. I've sent a ticket to hinterland support and checked the discussions - people are having this issue alongside me. If I can help in any way, please ask.
