Uh, I'm not sure if this is a development mistake, but one of the cabins outside the Carter Hydro Dam has ALL of the new item variants in one spot??

Totaling 3 rifles a lantern and a bow???

    Is this intentional??

    @Admin

(I wont spoil what they are)

Same here. My first thought was, oh, must be a holding spot for devs....then I thought those mothercanuckers brought back Fluffy. If so, I will do the LuDivico treatment on all of them and force feed them Canucks games...

    LOL!

  2. First off: Thanks to Zac for his update videos on YT.

I am a cowardly guy with PTSD, MS, and a laptop without a place to use my wireless mouse. I will be playing on Pilgrim, (I would complain about Hinterland making my college's mascot the 'easy' level but we are a small division 3 school so it fits.) listening to Lo-fi while looting and scooting.

Only qualm on the game, Bucks, (male deer) lose their antlers in the winter. Theoretically, the male deer should look like does with no antlers just bigger.

I honestly can't wait. One question is does the trader move around? Also, is it Jerimiah?

  3. Recipes could be use as a goal or badge to meet; Reishi stew, surf and turf, cat tail salad, etc

This is a minimalist game and glow sticks are the same as roadflares.

A thermos might be already on Will's backpack, thus the holding of liquid.

I think the greatest need is more blueprints for animal hides; socks, shirts, etc

Looking for opinions on Well Fed, specifically on Loper, and whether or not it is worth maintaining long term.

Previously I would always strive to maintain well fed and would go to great lengths to keep it.  On my current loper run ~200 days, I'm starting to lean towards a new school of thinking, eating when necessary to manage condition drop, but allowing the character to starve intermittently to conserve food resources, which ultimately conserves my bow/arrows etc.  Even though I have plenty of food to keep well fed up, does that extra carry weight actually net me anything significant?  I have stripped my daily carry down to around 28kg with full loper gear (2x bear coat, 2x deer pants,  2x longjohns, 2x wool socks, 2x thin wool sweater, rabbit hat/gloves, ear wrap and moose satchel).  i dont find myself needing more carry weight for daily life but hauling region to region, i wouldnt mind the extra 5kg, but its very hard to maintain well fed while travelling.

    Thoughts?

Well fed works at the beginning but once you are hunkered down in a base, storage takes the burden off your need to carry. Practicing in Pilgrim, you can raid most of the major sections in 80 days; Mountain Town, Mystery Lake, Muskeg, broken railroad (I wish you could move the Hunting lodge to Mystery Lake!), Ravine, ETC.

oh i got you. i were thinking about using the lead for makkin bullets head but it would be nice to have shotguns in the game i already talked about it in another  topic it would be nice for defence against big animals

a blunderbuss would be awesome. Little gunpowder, throw in scrap metal. BLAM!

i dont really understand what you mean

I'm piggybacking on what you said: old 1970's weights had leadshot for the weight and can be a source for lead. shotguns for new weapon. Non-lethal ammo might have a use.

  7. I have spent 140 game days looting everywhere with the specific intent to get my mending up to 5 and only at 4.9. Looted Milton, broken railroad, Mystery Lake, got the clothing prepper's cache, Old Spence Homestead, and it feels like the gap between 4 and 5 is 20% too wide.
