  1. i would love to see a lighter, and have wondered where i would have been in a game that was going south if i had had one as a light source or starter. i personally would feel they would not be overpowered. there would be many things that would cause them to need to be used sparingly. i feel only a Zippo would work though, as its a windproof lighter. 1. Butane in a Zippo evaporates slowly. simply make it take 20-30 days for it to fully evaporate before it needs to be filled back up 2. its either save the lighter fluid for starting fires in a pinch, or use half the can to fill a zippo, and have it evaporate. 3. if used as a light source, and a fire starter, it will go out quickly. 4. accelerate already is a slightly rare item (ok, not rare, but it doesn't spawn everywhere), so you would already have to search for fluid for the zippo if you run out 5. it would be a rare item that would only be found in certain places. 6. it can also be handled like how ammunition is mad, it needs multiple things. with a Zippo lighter, and other types, after awhile, the wick and flint rod need replacing. make it so that when the zippo decreases in quality, at 15%, it may only light half the time, meaning you would need to go to places like Carter dam, a gas station, or other industrial or commercial store places to find repair items like a wick and flint rod.
  2. Ok, so im playing voyager on Coastal, as i like to set up shop in the garage of the gas station (as some else do), and was setting cans and food items on a shelf, as i dont need them, and there heavy. so i start setting them on the shelf, and realize i am running out of room QUICK. so since the hitbox radius for small items is ridiculously big for them, and you cannot fit cans or other items close to each other on shelves, i propose a simple mechanic. stacking. when you take a object and hover over something else that is flat or is able to have something else put on top of it, it will "stack". simply put, i put a can on a shelf, and then i grab another can, and it will snap to the top of the first one. you can stack 3 cans high, or until you hit the top of the shelf. again too, right across from the self on a computer desk next to the fire barrel is where i keep all the books i have found, and other reading material. again, i have to use up the whole desk for a small amount of paper, when IRL you can easily stack books, 6-7 high. there, i can stack books, or lay anything else that is smaller than, or slightly larger than it ok top of it. it would make resource storage management easier, and would make rooms look less cluttered
  3. i think a idea like that would fit good into the story mode somehow. i dont KNOW how, but it would be cool. maybe make her growl at you atleast, as i feel a wolf wouldnt just let you waltz up to her and her babies, but make it so if you crouch and drop meat or something, she stops and eats it.
  4. i would love this. i have always wanted to find the caches, but don't have to time too, as im always looking for other resources when out, and dont want to go miles out of my way for something that may not even be there. it would be nice when setting up a really easy game in custom to be able to select the amount or what caches i want to spawn, based on where i spawn.
  5. Lol, haven’t either. Something about how fuzzy it is, and the fact of it being a tightly knit basically blanket to me sounds like it would do good keeping in heat and everything. Aswell as if you ever fold one up a few times and put it around your neck or something, or even make a head covering out of one (I have before while bored and drying off) it does actually get kinda warm
  6. Simply a place for ideas of new clothing I guess. I made it mostly because I had a idea. A new head worn item. It can be made by picking up towels off of places like bathroom floors, or in other places it would make sense: the towels would be VERY rare, but would have a pay off. It is used to do a few things. 1 it can be used as fuel for a fire, or can be used to creat a towel wrap. It’s a full head worn item, and is literally just a towel wrapped around the head. It has a thick roll around the neck, and a thick folded cover over the face, and a thin end going over the head. It would provide substantial warmth benefits when new, like 3.0 to 3.5 temp benefit, and decent wind resistance, but gets wet and thus frozen quickly, since, you know, it’s a towel. The towel can also be used as a alternative to make a torch.
  7. i think its a good idea. i would find it useful in interloper or for a endgame of voyager or stalker. would be nice to have a well made portable shelter. i have died countless times because of heat in interloper, and would be low on health. i would set up a fire, but my character would just sway back and forth (a good idea, but bad feature IMO that needs improvement) i have stumbled into the fire countless times, and wished i could lay prone, sit, or be able to enter a snow shelter, but couldn't. it would be great to have for those situations, and i would be protected, but could still sleep in a sleeping bag with a fire going.
