I know the railway car position is map developer bug. But in this scenario it is kinda happy bug. This kind of accident can happen in real life. For example

@SerenityI dont think so. I have checked my stats now and there are days in Milton, Mystery Lake and Broken Railroad. The Forsaken Airfield is missing though.

I reviewed my current player stats. There is no cougar encounter lines. So I thought, cougar is not yet implemented. But I noticed, there is no Insomnia line as well. And I had couple of these. So what is the situation? I thought I heard one. But looked there and it was doe. Is it that cougars are not in and insomina affliction is not in stats yet?

And the cottage on the island does not protect against glimmer. One would say that it could be insulated. But probably it goes into through chimney.

Nope. I had the risk and went to cave. It fully developed into afflicton. I think on its own the insomnia is just nuisance. But early on I had food poisoning. I decided to ignore it and craft my rabbit hat. I think 50% condition went down and was not recovered even after 10 hours sleep. In this situation the insomnia can be dangerous.

So finally I am at airfield. Walking on the road at midday, foggy condition. So I decided to wait in the car near cave if the fog would clear out. Fog turned into something else and voila, insomnia alert. I checked it and it said go somewhere undegroud. I thought cave would suffice, but no. I developed full insomnia till evening. But there was aurora in the night and look at this nice overview of fully functional airfield. Almost better than a map:

I noticed that my improvised crampons lost few percents only when I got to struggle with wolfe and it attacked my legs. I got damaged boots and crampons. Boots are repaired now, but crampons cannot be repaired. I suspect these might be possible to repair in milling machine.

We can compare our batch files. I have one too. It serves me well. Recently before big update, I had problem. TLD stated it cannot load the save. I went few files back and was able to give Astrid proper good bye.

First is what is wrong with railroad workers at Great Bear. There are already 2 derailment which are not caused by disaster. And going from Broken Railroad towards the airfield, there is another one. I think it has to be reckless workers. Look at this. I have seen some rails damaged by seized or slipping wheels, but not serious as this: Another question is: Why on earth is there propane tank in the tunnel? This is kinda serious question. I have never seen such thing in my country. Is there any reason to put propane tank in tunnel? Last question is for the person who supply us with single rosehips in trash bin. Really, another teasing?

Thank you, you saved me a trip to the Trapper cabin in the Mystery lake. I came from Milton to the Mystery Lake. Found a note that there is new cave near trappers. Now my character is in the office prepared to go through swamp. So no detour is needed. Thank you again.

I noticed it as well. Plus I think my character is more quickly exhausted. I almost never run, but Astrid is tired more often than before. (unless she wants excuses to not play with me any more)

I found funny thing in the upper dam. In the corridor between main entrance and the room with fire barell. There was a corpse. But it took shape of painkiller bottle. It was near wires, so maybe the poor man was killed by electricity and cremated at once. Question is who put him into the bottle. I reported it to techsupport.

I do back my saves as well. For one purpose only. Not for defeating permadeath. But there can be bugs in the game. And if such bug kills my character, I feel not cheating using my older save. Plus recently (before wipe) I started game and faced message that the save cannot be loaded. So I went back few saves and continued with my run.

@ChillPlayerfunny you mentioned it. I am playing voyager. Started in Milton. First thing I noticed, my Astrid seems to be more exhausted than usual. And the weather. 3 blizzards in first 4 days. Day 5 was OK and there was thick fog during whole day 6. I dont like fog. Unlike blizzard, it encourages you to travel, but mostly towards nearest open mouth with many teeth.

I wonder. Was the energy, water and stamina consumption changed? Because it seems like my character has to eat and drink lot more than before. And it is more exhausted.

Noice. New voyager game. Two blizzards in first 3 days. Pretty cold welcome.

Now the question is. Where is the airfield? I cannot start game in this region. Nowhere on map.

Reinstalled the 10,5GB (unpacked 15GB) restarted steam and still no luck.

Hmm hibernating? I dont like it either. But It could give me 500 days badge. I am occasional player, so my longest run is about 400 days.

I really enjoy TLD sound. I mean I was, then I didnt and now I think it is better. I play it only with headphones. Because as stated somewhere in game. You will hear wolf before you can see it. The only other game, which is similar with sound work is Kingdom Come Deliverance. I can attest that sound of the forest in that game is genuine Czech forrest sound.
