I like the drinking from radial idea, that sounds awesome!
  3. Once you eat a piece of wolf or bear meat, you accumulate risk for each additional piece of meat you consume. 24 hours after you initially consumed the first piece, the game rolls to see if you get intestinal parasites with the chance being equivalent to the percentage the risk meter went up by. 4. Of course you're a mac user but ever since windows defender came out, freeware/cheap anti-virus programs have been obsolete. I don't know if apple has a built-in anti virus
  5. If you ask most people who work with computers regularly, they will tell you Norton anti-virus is a virus in it of itself. Whenever I've gotten a new computer with Norton or McAfee, I always remove it immediately.
  6. What about putting TLD on that application-blocking list?
  7. I'm not a mac user, but you could try looking for a way to prevent TLD from being able to access the internet since you don't need the internet to play. I don't know if this is possible. You could also try in-game turning off telemetry under accessibility.
  8. Yeah, usually the survival updates are at the end of the first week of December, but don't necessarily count on it since they never tend to mention the date of release. Wait until the teaser trailer drops, and then you'll know it will be within a week
  9. @Admin Can I retroactively have my discount code applied to my order? I had to order early so the items I wanted would still be in stock, and I couldn't wait for the discount code to hit my email address. If it is possible, I can direct message you my order number
  10. If you haven't already, file a support ticket. Hinterland has, in the past, been able to fix corrupted save files. So include the save file in your ticket (if you know how to find it)
  11. Have you tried validating the game files, and/or reinstalling TLD? You can also delete your local save files again and try re-downloading then from the cloud
  12. Boats, lockers, and corpses can now rarely spawn on shore after blizzards
  13. In fact there is! If you have the steam versions you can use the Time Capsule feature, and play the game at most version levels! There's a link on the forums home page that shows you how to use it
  14. Yeah, you'll be lucky if you find cloth in an abandoned one
  15. @ManicManiacis right Previous attempts to start a fire do not affect the chance on the next time, thus a 20% chance to fail is still 20% the next attempt
  16. mmm in that case, try submitting a support ticket with all the details you can provide The other possibility is that some software has a fan curve set for TLD (MSI Afterburner, for example) that is set to ramp up to full when TLD is opened. Other than that I don't know what the issue could be.
  17. It's actually more likely that it's a video card driver problem, something in TLDs code is making the graphics driver think it needs more cooling power to handle, or the graphics driver is corrupt and something in TLDs code is setting it off. But since everyone's graphics card isn't doing this (let us know if someone else has the same issue) than it's more likely to be the drivers fault. A clean re-install will ensure the driver is working properly
  18. Have you tried doing a clean re-install of your graphics driver? You can do that by downloading the appropriate driver from NIVIDIA's website or through GeForce experience, and selecting "custom" as the install option
  19. I think this is a great idea! To balance them, they should have terrible durability and effectiveness, so on interloper there is still a reason to go to the forge and make improvised tools. Effectiveness wise, it could take almost double the time to craft/breakdown stuff with. And durability wise, they can't be repaired and take 10% condition damage from most actions
  20. A simple feature. Just like how we can pass time when cooking something, this could be extended to wet clothing. When clothing is in an area where it can start to dry, a timer appears to indicate how long until the clothing item will be dry/unfrozen. When inspecting the item you will be able to press Space (on pc) to pass time until the item reaches the next state, either unfrozen or dry.
  21. Got the final one Tales: Signal Void Haste - A sense of certainty empowers you with every footfall. Walk slightly faster, but crouch-walk slightly slower.
  22. You can in fact get back! Just to the right side there's a path that allows you to get back out. It doesn't look super obvious if you don't know it's there. Just go out the front of the plane to the right and you should land on a patch of snow that not too steep and allows you to get back up!
