  1. Hi @Admin, We're rapidly approaching the 1 yr anniversary of breaking Xbox Play Anywhere with the release of separate TFTFT versions for XBox and PC on the MS Store. We're still waiting for an update as to whether this will be fixed, or to get on and just buy TFTFT twice and it'll work. Here's hoping we get an answer as an anniversary present...

  3. I've been giving this some thought. I also think the balance is wrong... but I'm leaning towards the amount of down per bird is the issue. I think maybe only getting 1 amount of down from 1 bird should be the way to go. We won't have the issue of spending hours plucking a single bird, and also makes it so we have to hunt more of them to stuff a bedroll.
  4. Am I the only one, or have others almost had a long run ruined by an accidental click on Raw Meat? Considering how much effort is required to light a wooden torch, please can we have a confirmation (maybe even optional) when selecting Raw Meat. I am frustrated when selecting into my inventory to drop or move something, that the slightest miss click and I start chowing down on Raw Bear Meat. The food poisoning is one thing, but the Intestinal Parasites are terrible. I have never intentionally eaten raw meat, even rabbit or deer... but have almost died in two separate 300+ day interloper runs, from this too easy to trigger action.
  5. @Admin, It's nice that members of your support team know how Play Anywhere "should" work... but I've been waiting since March last year for this to be fixed. If you want us to forget Play Anywhere exists and pay twice, then just tell us that and confirm that the two separate versions will still share the same saves. To be honest, the price is not that issue... it's the risk of version conflict and losing the save that prevents me from buying the PC TFTFT in addition to the XBox TFTFT I bought in over 9 months ago. Response always appreciated... even if it's bad news
  6. Hi @Francious70, Just curious, did you buy TFTFT twice (XBox and PC) or are you the one person for whom Play Anywhere actually works? Many Thanks
  7. Hey @Zeke, Does it work? Can you play the same save on both XBox and PC? I've been thinking about just buying it, but am concerned that there may be version conflict with them being completely separate games (at least on the MS Store)
  8. @Admin about 9 months ago, you confirmed that The Long Dark and Tales would be available via Play Anywhere... We're still waiting. Beyond the "We're looking into it", we've had no feedback as to what is causing this and what the solutions might be. I understand that it might not be a priority... I don't know how many XBox players also play on their PCs, but please tell us that. As it is, I can't play The Long Dark on my PC at all, because I have Tales on the XBox. Please give us some meaningful feedback.
  9. @Admin, Now that TFTFT Episode 4 has shipped, any update on this issue affecting XBox & PC players? Something a little more than "we're looking at it" would be good, especially as it's been an issue for 9 months
  10. Strangely, I seem to have the opposite situation. Barb's rifle is repeatedly spawning for me... I currently have Four Barb's Rifles (XBox). I haven't tested whether there is a minimum period of being away before returning to Coastal Highway to trigger the spawn, but it was interesting that the first spawn was only at 34% condition, while the subsequent spawns are all at 55% condition.
  11. I think you're right @Smellyfries, this has happened to me when boiling water and cooking Bear. both times I loaded the fire with just enough to get past the boiled/cooked time, passed a little time and they boiled dry/incinerated. Leaving map (indoors or region) did not seem to have any effect, so probably just limited to passing time.
  12. I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this... Usually I see the rabbits are just slightly above the ground when bounding around, except for the same flying rabbit under a bridge in Bleak Inlet as you've seen, bounding around at about head height.
  13. Thanks for the warning @Outdoors Guy! What a terrible loss... Something I've been too fearful to try while the XBox and PC "XBox Anywhere" games seem separated.
  14. Hi @Admin, just ensuring that you spot @J_F questions above... I see Part Three release notes do not mention MS PC, only Steam and Epic... so is the Play Anywhere problem serious and unfixable? "TALES FROM THE FAR TERRITORY, Part Three: FRONTIER COMFORTS is available NOW on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox!"
  15. @Admin, Still no change in the status of TFTFT PlayAnywhere problem and no update of any progress... I guess it's more of a problem than it looks, or there just aren't enough XBox & PC players to warrant fixing. Personally, I'm finding the episodic drop of TFTFT updates disrupting... the latest TFTFT changes have made me want to restart my current run... so, I think I am going to give up for now... maybe this'll be sorted by the end of the year... If not (or we're told that XBox & PC are going to remain as separate purchases) then maybe there'll be a sale in which I'll also buy the PC version.
