  1. In real life I would be hesitant to do so because you would be eating spray paint. Is that healthy? Of course people eat little bits of lead if they hunt with lead bullets/shot, but I wouldn't want to do that either. It just seems like a bad idea.

  2. I still feel this game could significantly benefit from someone going through everything and tidying things up. They could sit down and wonder what benefit there is to clicking on something 56 times as apposed to just once or a few times. If there isn't any then they could look at how to make it more efficient.

No. It's right for game balance. Quartering is not something you usually do. And almost never with small animals like deer and wolves. It allows you to harvest animals in the safety of a shelter. And you get the guts + hide for free. In return bags are heavier than the pure meat and they decay very fast.

I dislike when things are so far off reality that people don't even understand what's happening "because gameplay". I think there are better ways to do it.

Oh that's very interesting. It seems like fungi in general have so much potential. I think we're going to need more efficient sources of protein in the future that those obtained from animal sources. Im not an expert but it seems like mushrooms and fungi would be a very efficient source of nutrition.

We already have them. Things like lentils and beans are good sources of protein. If we are specifically talking about protein, mushrooms are vastly inferior. I could get into land/water use and emissions but since I don't know what your metrics are I can generalise it and go by cost.

In alberta, canada I can get about 100g of protein from a steak which costs 13.50

For the same price, I could get 615g of protein from lentils. I am pretty sure meat is subsidised here too for some reason so the reality is even more in favour of lentils.

Imperial units are still use a lot in Canada. Especially in the construction and aerospace industries.

It's awful, but somewhat understandable as we only finished switching in the 80s. I remember going into the hardware store and someone asked me a question and I said I needed a 56cm thing and they looked at me like I was speaking klingon. But I will be part of the change and stick with metric like the rest of the world does. We will only get stuck on some inferior system if people allow it.

  6. Almost anything would be better than the current system where people have to know how the system works before they can use clothing properly. You can see how much of an issue it is when you can put on additional clothing and then actually get colder.

Personally I would have windproof add up as you go in. So wearing 2WP and +3C on layer 1 would give you those stats, and then wearing another 2WP and +3C coat would give you 4WP to the internal +3C but then 2WP to the outer +3C because the inner layer doesn't protect the outer layer. It would be similar to real life that way, as in real life wearing a wind breaker on the inside layer is the least effective thing you can do as it won't provide wind protection to the clothing holding heat on the outside. I would explain more but this will never get implemented as it's way too complicated for hinterland to consider.
