I've seen this a few times and don't quite understand it. Why not adjust the loot like they would at the plane crash (pv), summit, gold mine, or other high loot areas?

Source When Raph tweeted this, it was discouraging. From the streamers I watch, to my own play style after 700+ hours, it just felt so disheartening that the creator of a game I love so much showed his true colors about the dedicated interloper players. I've continued to recommend this game over the years to people of all gaming experience levels. From friends who would just enjoy the relaxation of exploring on Pilgrim, to others who treat it more like a roguelike and want maximum challenge, I've always said you can play the game at your own comfort level. Well, now I can't really say that's completely true. Increasingly over the course of this DLC rollout, it's become clear that in order to experience the paid DLC content, we would need to play *any other difficulty* other than interloper. I've said in the past that I was happy to pay for any DLC to support the hours of enjoyment that this game has given me, and I still feel that way. I can't ask my friends/family who have purchased the game at my recommendation to do the same. Raph essentially boiling down the value of long term players to a cost/benefit model, just doesn't sit right with me. I didn't feel like this as a TLD fan and player previously.

Quick update - After today's hotfix I logged into my savegame and instantly got the achievement. Hooray!

Well I went for it anyways on my long term stalker run and....no dice. Collected every polaroid and surveyed every location, checklist confirms it but no achievement. edit - This is on steam.

Thanks for the update! I haven't been on the forums in so long, not sure if this is Patrick, but I shall remain patient!

Curious about this as well. May give it a shot anyways, but it's a lot of hours for me to have to backtrack the game world if it doesn't work.
