  1. I can't wait for story mode. Sandbox is getting a little dry. It would be nice to have objectives in sandbox, but I get it, it's a sandbox, do whatever.
  2. Speaking of weapons, lets talk about hunting food for a sec without getting to far off topic. I've been able to find the gun and ammo but I can't for the life of me figure out where to get arrow heads, caves maybe?
  3. Hmm, see I've been stock piling the stuff for when I need it. Wonder if it would be a better approach to grab the food that is furthest away from your location first and leave the stuff that is close by for later because if it starts to go bad the moment you pick it up and you know it's close by it might not be worth picking up.
  4. Hoping someone could answer two questions I have about food in this game since I am new. I notice each food has a percentage level, what does this percentage pertain to? Does food go bad? I panic when I have lots of food and I start to eat when I don't need to eat because I think it might spoil. Can we stock pile food, animal protein or do we need to be to keep eating so it doesn't go to waste? Thanks
  5. Curious what your personal best number of days survived is.
  6. I would report it in "Alpha Bug Reports & Tech Issues"
  7. I love the feeling of the unknown in this game. I try to plan out my week, collect fire word one day, collect food the next etc. It doesn't always end up that way because there might be a pack of wolves outside my cabin or I am really tired half way through the day and need to sleep. I didn't realize this game would make me think so much about my survival, it's great! How many calories do I have, can I sleep this long, how much food is there, did I loot this cabin, how much time on the fire do I have for cooking. The amount of things I can do while needing to stay feed and hydrated is wonderful. This is my new favorite game for sure and I look forward playing it everyday when I get off work because I am always thinking of stuff I can do or needs to be done.

    Jumping

Option to step up/onto/over then? That makes sense. What I am getting at is even if the jumping feature doesn't effect the game it would add a level of realism to the game which makes for better immersion. It's not that you need to jump, it's that you want to know that you can because you can in real life even if you don't need to. It's all about immersion.

    Jumping

Jumping: Not that it's needed but it would be nice to have the ability to jump. Even if the game mechanic wouldn't allow you to jump onto anything. I think having the ability to jump makes you feel more in control, if that makes any sense. Not being able to jump feels like a restriction in a game that has so much open world and first person immersion. Having that ability there would feel like you had more freedom and control over your character even if it didn't effect the game play. That's my 2 cents
  10. Firstly, hello! I bought the game last night after seeing it on a YouTuber's channel (Sips from the Yogscast). It is a very good game and the replay-ability so far looks promising. I know I am the "new guy" and my opinion might not matter much but I wanted to share anyway. Jumping, as far as I could tell there isn't any jumping in the game? Not that it's needed but it would be nice to have the ability to jump. Even if the game mechanic wouldn't allow you to jump onto anything. Feeling low, walking around I sometimes felt like I was very low on the ground. Almost as if I was chest deep in snow (even though I wasn't). Did anyone else have this feeling? Co-op, any plans for a co-op mode in the future? I get the whole idea of being alone but having two options of characters to choose from it would be fun trying to survive with a friend. It would add an extra level of difficulty, needing to share rations, gear, etc. Thank you for taking the time in reading this. I look forward to many more hours of game play!
