  1. Can I say I love you? 3 major things I like about this post: The update to the new release on GOG. Hinterland communicates about it being released to GOG! The update will include the latest 1.19 patch! Especially the second one feels like a huge improvement. THANKS!
  2. Haha yes I see why you would think this. I'm a backer who took the opportunity to switch from the Steam release to the GOG release as the DRM free version was part of the initial project goals. I do however trust Hinterland to deliver, even if it's delayed. I just hope the communication about these releases will be better in the near future, instead of communicating progress which isn't happening in the first place. Let the waiting game begin.
  3. Like I'm used by Hinterland: a great update is coming with some surprises. I love surprises, can't wait for this new update! Since I've stopped playing Wintermute partially through episode 2 due to less spare time and some bugs I'm thinking about restarting the Story mode so I can try the difficulty system, that's something I didn't expected to be implemented but I do see this as a huge step forwards!
  4. I'm not sure if this is a realistic goal. But I'll definitely buy it!
  5. I know the feeling of impatience haha (still waiting on the 1.15 update). The next update will be in December if everything goes according to plan. And Moose has been confirmed. This will be a jolly season.
  6. Sounds good, although you also sound a bit too harsh for yourself. The Long Dark 1.0 still is way more than I expected it to be a few years ago when the crowdfunding was going on. There's one thing I'm curious about, might be something that will be added later on in story mode as it's currently missing: willpower. A statistic about your mental and emotional state as a player. By the way, reading these change logs with the Long Dark music of Sascha in the background is the best thing! I love his music!
  7. A part of the team seems to be working... I noticed some patches being released and such (hey guys take a break, you deserve it remember? )
  8. I'm pretty sure they will. Rome wasn't build in one day too.
  9. Hey Patrick. Yes I did but it has been swapped with a GOG key as soon as the DRM free version came out on GOG. I've checked my old email conversations about it (9 march 2016) and the original Steam key has been revoked a few days after I claimed the GOG key. Since it has been released on Steam as a DLC this might be a problem. But at the other side I'm willing to buy the soundtracks 'again' (backing is not buying but you'll get the idea haha) if they'll get released on other platforms like Bandcamp. So it shouldn't be a problem, at least not for me. I can wait, it's worth it.
  10. Hype! This is so cool! One question for backers: will Steam be the only option to redeem the sound tracks through Humble Bundle? I don't use Steam so it's something I'm wondering about. I would definitely buy the soundtracks (a second time) if there's a physical release or a flac release on Bandcamp.
  11. I might need to clarify my reaction about bad voice action. Those reactions where on the YouTube video page. But I'm glad more people like the voice acting.
  12. A great trailer, it's not spoiling anything only creating questions. Good job Hinterland! It has been a long journey but very worth it as far as I can tell. I don't really get the complaints about bad voice acting (YouTube comments) and the music being to loud. I like it! I've had no problems hearing and understanding the voice in this trailer and English isn't even my mother tongue. Maybe it depends on the audio setup or something like that? Also I like the new forums, although it looks a bit too 'large' if you get what I mean. It looks like I've zoomed in a lot on the page.
