captial letter problem - FIXED

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

the capital q on my laptop doesn`t work ???

it was working fine yesterday

i have a ACER ASPIRE 5742G

ANY HELP PLEASE ?!

Try using the lower case 'q' while pressing down the SHIFT button. If that doesn't work, maybe contact ACER's service desk?

it`s ok, i fixed it !

i just went into the DEVICE MANAGER / KEYBOARDS, then UNINSTALLED the default keyboard.

reset the PC and it RE-INSTALLED the default keyboard

i`m a noob when it comes to PC`s, but thought if i deleted the default keyboard - it would re-install it. and it did !

a fluke, but it worked. at worst, i thought i might not be able to type if i deleted the keyboard, but logically thought there would have to be a default system restore.

it was WIERD - i`ve NEVER had that problem before. but THANKS FOR THE REPLY ANYWAY.
