Vanilla allows this, but it's not directly exposed in the admin settings (so I can't enable it this second). We need our web dude to edit one of the files on the server. Will get this done ASAP.

I don't know if this is exploitable, but it seems that way: I requested a password reset using my kickstarter username and got an email with cc of 4 other people who apparently have the same username here. Not sure if the password reset tracks the email, but I thought I'd mention it. I changed my username and password now, so I guess now it should be fine?

Done in two clicks! I need my full, legal name removed. Everything else looks fine.

Yeah, I would also like to get a user name, that is not a mangled version of my name. The software seems to have a problem with umlauts.

Count me among those interested in changing my username, also. Making it a one-time option would be fine with me so it's not abused.

Or, maybe an option to just have a separate display name for the forums that's different from the username assigned as a carryover from Kickstarter. That perhaps could be easier for you to implement.

It seems to be doing odd things. Whcn I log in with facebook, it uses my first/last name. When I use twitter, it changes my username to my twitter username.

It uses my full name from fb whether I log in with my username or through fb. Which is fine by me.

Understood Raph, just saying that it changes depending on how I log in. I'm not sure that's a permissions issue.
