Indianahanna Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 There needs to be the ability to craft primitive weapons without crafting tables. First as previously mentioned a spear can harvested from a branch sharpened on surrounding rocks or with knife and then hard end over camp fire. Clubs could be gathered in the same manner and then fashioned with rocks, nails from harvested pallets, crates or even sheet metal scrap for a formidable two handed axe. I would use one of my shoe laces to fashion a bone crushing club. Cut the remains lace in half and tie tops of both shoes, or you could just use harvested and cured intestines. Any of these weapons should allow you to stand and fight instead of lying on the ground like a helpless new born. After all wouldn't you fight for your life. Some of us would even charge nowing that animals can smell you're fear and your best chance is to appear as big and threatening as possible to drive them away.

There's ton of discussion on this topic going on currently in a few other threads you may wanna check those out as well.
