Just thought about that yesterday, at night you can see sometimes a lot better then when its day...

For example the Carter Dam, the area where you can exit towards the Carter River is completely dark at day and you can't navigate through without a source of light, but at night you can see almost everything and navigating through is possible without light...

yeah, I had the same thing the other day while I was overnighting at Misanthropes on the CH. I had six hours darkness remaining and the interior was light up like mid afternoon. I even went outside to see if the moon was up, but it was blizzarding and no light. I ducked back in the house and it was like daylight.

This is definitely an issue we're aware of, but I'm not sure what the progress on fixing it is. If you have not already done so, please post to the technical forums -- We may want to grab a log or save file from you.

If it's a perma-darkness Halloween gag... well played Hinterland. Well played.

Stuck in perma-darkness with ??? hours of darkness remaining. Weather seems to be stuck on fog, too.

PS. Nice pumpkin in the loading screen, BTW.

PPS. Do we have to find the pumpkin to break the curse of darkness? ;)

I have posted this to the Alpha Bug Reports & Tech Issues Forum (PC/MAC).

I live for a long time in the carter dam and noticed that the first hour and the last hour of the night you can see nothing - but between in the night you can find your way easy in the dark.

I like this "feature" because it really simulates you have your eyes train in the dark like in real life.

When you go to bed an turn off the light you could see nothing but when you wake up in the middle of the night your eyes can see in the darkness.

Yes true. But how do you explain the last hours of the night? :o

I saw it as "program feature" to use your fuel.

I think most of time you went to bed, when it goes dark and sleep until the first daylight-hour.

If you don`t want so long to sleep, you have to use your lantern ect... :D

But it takes me a long time to notice this, as a new user I was afraid of darkness and to use my fuel.
