vizards010 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Lighters are everywhere in real life! Adding lighters would be a smart idea eg. Disposable lighters ( not repairable or refillable ) and zippo style lighters that are rarer ( repairable and refillable ) Lighters are way more common then matches I've found working lighters everywhere even underground so please! Just me!?
druffzilla Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 i thought about zippos too, the "accelerant" appears to be lighter fuel anyway...gas lighters often have failures in very low temperatures though.
vizards010 Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 Haha yes the lighter fuel is all ready there to refill zippo's so there should be a lighter around in draws etc. Even in cold temps I would rather have a lighter then matches plus a little wind resistance would be good to help light fires in low winds
alunasmoon Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 +1 but i think they should be as rare as the flint and steel which i still have not found.....
sierra 117 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Hey just wana help you out with firesteel locations, they are generally lying next to barrels in a few diff places ie garage in CH and signal hill in PV. one place i know for definate is in the dam in ML go through main door then turn left and there will be 2/3 barrels to the right hand side of the doorway leading to the hallway that leads downstairs, usually tucked away at side of barrel or in the corner ,can be hard to see without torch or lantern, hope this helps as the firesteel is invaluable at the start when u have low fire skill
elloco999 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I don't think alunasmoon is talking about the firesteels but about the flint and steel. When torches were introduced, one option to light them aside from the firesteel is the flint and steel (that actually look like a different firesteel). This item is not actually in the game though.
