cekivi Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I don't know if this is an issue with the game or my video card but I recently experienced the following:<1 hour of daylight left. Some form of weather had moved in. I think it was fog? The screen was sepia toned and visibility was near zero but there was no snow and it wasn't freezing. There were striations across my screen as I moved around. It looked like the lines you'd get on an old CRT monitor that wasn't refreshing fast enough. Now, I don't know if this was due to a frame-rate drop, my computer being old or a rendering issue in game. I've got a screenshot if that would be helpful? I still haven't mastered uploading images to the forum.
Guest Support Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 First step to check is verifying your Steam Cache. If it reports all okay, then you may need to provide your debug output file.Without any info on your system specs, there's no way to tell if there's a hardware issue without further details. Attach your debug output log if you need the devs to check for game compatibility issues. On PC, the log is written to the data directory for the game. For Steam, this would look like:C:\TheDirectoryYouInstalledSteamTo\steamapps\common\TheLongDark\tld_Data\output_log.txtFor Mac, the debug log is written to: ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.logNote that ~ above is your home folder (little house icon). It's possible the Library folder will be hidden. You can make it show up by typing the following into Terminal:chflags nohidden ~/LibraryYou can additional information about items to check here: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=7888&p=44740Thank You
