I got the game a few days ago and have played quite a bit. I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this game is. So here is my feedback:

I love the atmosphere and audio, you truly feel alone and cold. I love the temperature mechanics, how it changes and includes wind chill in the calculation. Being able to avoid it behind rocks ect. is really cool. I like how the wolves seem unpredictable, even though they probably aren't to veteran players. It would be great if they were truly unpredictable, such as torches don't always scare them away while flares are a bit more reliable. Not sure if it's like this already but I've successfully scared off wolves with a torch every time.

There's a few gripes I have.

An entire deer or wolf only seems to last a couple days.

I find the whole sleeping mechanic strange. Let's say I'm getting sleepy and forgot my bedroll. Even though I could hole up anywhere, have plenty of firewood and a good coat, I'll die unless I find a bed. What? People don't die if they can't find a bed. They don't die from not sleeping either. Sleep deprivation can cause death indirectly though. I'd much prefer sleep deprivation to cause things like hallucinations, random stumbling and falling asleep, in which case you'd freeze to death if outside.

Death by harvesting is annoying, I know you should check your levels before and all, but it's silly when you die while chopping wood or such. A warning message would be nice. Such as "You're too cold/hungry/dehydrated to harvest this."

Some suggestions,

I think there should be some penalties for being hungry / thirsty / exhausted constantly just like being cold too much gives you hypothermia. I could see malnutrition being a thing too, if you're eating only meat for long periods of time.

Finally, I can see the game losing its initial allure fast if maps are always the same, unless you plan to constantly make new maps. I suggest randomizing where locations are on the map, so the player won't know exactly where everything is. This might make some old players upset but it could always be an option. Options are always good.
