vonkhades Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 This is my first general feedback for Long Dark, not saying all this is just for 271, but that I've played around 30 hours (not much I know), managed to survive 20 hours without hatchet, rifle or bow, and explored 3 areas only. Here it goes...- calories in meat! I feel a bit weird when eating 2kg of meat a day ingame... its not very realistic if you think about it! 2kg of meat is just too much! I would suggest to change the amount of Cal per kilo (add more). Just the relation weight/calories dont seem right... I understand that the current values set for this are not random, are though on the context on the game on the experience to balance in-game time etc, but still... to eat 2 kg of meat daily is too much.- positive bonus... just as there are negative penalties when you are at certain states (i.e. exhausted) there should be positive bonus/buffs. for example a new temporal buff called "fat" that you accumulate fat when you are in "full" state.- running exhaustion consumption, it should be based on the weight... i.e. if you have < 15 kb you consume exhausting and stamina bar very slowly, and when you are with more weight it drains faster- when are fully rested have a bonus like better vision (more keen) or just can carry bonus weight temporary as an examples- condition drain adjustment for canned foods, military rations, energy bars, etc (non perish food).- be able to dry meat (so its condition is drained very very very slowly) since it loses water it weights less BUT when you eat dried meat you gain thirst.- the forge for the arrow heads makes super difficult to have a useful weapon survival bow
