By far the best survival game to date, but....

I think this is by far the best survival game I've tried so far. Better than 'The forrest' and 'Stranded deep'. But there are things that I find troubling. First there is the smashing of crates. It takes too long to be realistic. It shouldn't take more than five minutes. Secondly, the AI of the animals are not good. It is far too easy to get them, and they run right past you instead of running away and there are too many of them. Thirdly, why can't the lamp oil be used as an accelerater?

I will play more tommorrow and maybe post more critique. So far, thank you for a great game!

I've wondered about this, because I think you can do it through a trick/exploit. Lamp Oil and Kerosene can both be used to refuel the Storm Lamp, but only Kerosene can be used as an accelerant. When you harvest a Storm Lamp, if you have a partially empty container to collect the fuel, you will do so.

You need a Storm Lamp, a partially empty Jerry Can, and Lamp Oil.

• Refill the Storm Lamp with the Lamp Oil
  
• Harvest the Storm Lamp with the Jerry Can in your inventory, refilling the Jerry Can
  
• Use the Jerry Can as an accelerant
