vizards010 Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 You should add buildable shelter like a lean too, simple bases made from sticks, leafs etc. Could be crafted in areas near trees, could be a outlined area you add sticks too or you place the outline then add the sticks and takes time to build eg. 2 hours img]http://www.survivalworld.com/images/shelter-images/lean-to-shelter-2.jpg
alunasmoon Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 i know in earlier releases of the games they did have a tab for building a snow shelter that was never put in , i still think this is a good idea for short term but not long term liveing
vizards010 Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 I think there are to many houses in some maps, would be good to spend some time outside in the long dark
cekivi Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 No to lean to (requires lots of time and tools to build). Yes to snow cave. Snow caves (or some crude shelter) can still be used on maps even if there are a lot of houses. For instance, you're lost and a blizzard blows in. As the game is your only option is to walk around until you find shelter and you're likely to freeze to death before you do. A snow cave gives you the chance to get out of the wind and maybe survive the night.
sierra 117 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I will be making a seperate topic on this later, but i say yes to both, if they add a nomad mode, was mentioned by someonrle else, cant remember name sorry, would be dreat with more difficult mode with no building only ruins ,so u have to live in a cave etc no gun or hatched spawns etc just bow spawns and stone tools.Like i say i will make new topic detailing how i think this diff level would work
Jebcool Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Yup. +1Use the design for the little hut next to the dam
