[solved] Vanishing HUD data

Hi:

Downloaded tonight's update, went back to a saved game in Desolation Point and discovered my HUD data has vanished. My stamina bar, status symbols in the bottom left and even calorie increase while eating are all missing. I also don't get any labels coming up when hovering over doors, harvestable wood, containers, etc.

Might want to try verifying your game cache:

if that doesn't help post the output log and see if the devs can't find something.

As RJIII suggested, please verify your steam game cache. If you're still having issues, I'll arrange to have you attach additional game files which would be forwarded to the team to check for issues.

Go to your steam library

Right click on The Long Dark

Select "Properties"

Select the "Local Files" tab

Press "verify integrity of game cache"
