v 2.70 game crash at abandoned mine entrance

First time bug report; sorry if I screw it up.

At the interior of the abandoned mine (coastal highway entrance), I entered, rested on the bedroll to save, and then proceeded deeper into the mine. The game crashed, sent me to windows, but stayed running, and I can hear game sounds correlating to keystrokes, but I am unable to see the screen anymore. It is minimized and in my toolbar but won't open again.

It happens every time, regardless of whether or not I have a torch, flare, or nothing equipped.
