v265 Running should produce heat

After running half the stamina bar I should be a little warmer for a while and start perspirating (loosing warmth faster for a while or until a fire to evaporate moisture or sleep to dry the clothes). I should also get thirstier. Loosing warmth when perspirated would be primarily influenced by windchill factor (if airtight, the heat escapes much slower while the cloth layers ensure thermal insulation).

It's the effort versus heat effect. Might be worth including, running only if your life depends on it..

I believe you've cut out the "getting warmer" message after a run (I saw that in a video).

Thanks.

Don't send a rabid wolf after me ! ;)

+1 for metabolism, yes to making the layering system have a purpose beyond adding degrees of insulation and the effect of exercise in the cold. This is a salient point of cold weather survival.

If we're getting in to perspiration heat loss, then we'd not just need to look at layering, but at clothing materials as well. Cotton or down + perspiration = bad. Wool or fleece + perspiration is not nearly so much trouble. Some things insulate perfectly well when wet, but others don't.

That would be the intent, yes. If cloth also broke down into "cotton cloth" and "woollen cloth," you'd see a marked increase in resource management difficulties.

Agreed. If very cold when running, no persperation should occur, but warmth added.if warm when running, heat increases, but heat loss should stack for X time

+1, exactly, for short runs of about one forth of the stamina bar
