JohnOttway Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 After playing this game for a week or so, I have really established my base of operations at the Pleasant Valley Farmstead. I'm 78 days in and going strong, and I have made a list of improvements to the game. Anyhoo, here's my wishlist. 1. Craftable furniture (chairs, tables, etc.)2. The ability to move around furniture or rearrange a base.3. Bear pelt coats, and hats.4. Rabbit pelt scarf?5. The ability to drag an animal corpse to a different location. (at the cost of fatigue and hunger, along with slowed down speed)6. Binoculars. And here are a couple large addons that would be really cool...1. A way to find generators, and move them to a home or base in order to heat, power, and light up the place. (At the cost of gasoline or kerosene, whatever to balance it out.)2. Building cabins and/or houses.3. A tent to carry around with you, in order to keep some of the windchill off of you at night.4. Other survivors. (Woah, that would really change the game wouldn't it?)5. A way to repair the abandoned cars, and drive them to places in order to gather supplies. (At the cost of gasoline, and it shouldn't be able to do much offroading. Also, you might get caught in a blizzard, etc.)6. Foxes, mooses (or whatever the plural is), grizzly bears, and wolverines. 7. Finally, an axe, NOT a hatchet. With an axe you can cut down a full tree. Maybe you could do it in segments, choosing how much time to spend each time, like crafting. Thanks for reading! and who knows? maybe a developer will read this and we'll have it in our next update!
Chuckcem Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I think you are on to something here. I've been dying for a set of binoculars and completely understand if we never get them...but I wonder if something more could be done withe magnifying glass. The ability to drag things around would be interesting as well. While I don't think it would be necessary to be able to build cabins or houses, I'm not opposed to it if the task is arduous. For this the game would need to introduce an axe, a saw, and the abilty to forge screws/fasteners etc. What I would rather have is the ability to build crude makeshift shelters out of branches, leaves, and stones. (Also can we introduce rocks/stones as a building tool and animal distraction/deterrent?). This would eliminate the need to carry around a tent as well. The car thing probably wouldn't work with the survivalist immersion, BUT sledding could be cool. The game could even add huskies or wild dogs that need to be tamed if you want the ability to move long distances. Could be cool, dogs in games are always fun.As for animals, I totally agree that more animals could be added. I really like the fox and moose idea.
marcushasfun Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 "2. The ability to move around furniture or rearrange a base."This. And let me drag house corpses outside. Who would sleep with a corpse in the house?
danicusrex Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Who would sleep with a corpse in the house?Really lonely people?
