Standalone release?

Hi all,

Just a quick question. Does anyone know if there are any plans to release a standalone version of The Long Dark? In other words without requiring Steam?

There will be physical copies as part of the Kickstarter Backer options for some tier levels, so I imagine there will also be physical versions available for retail release once completed as well.

Awesome that is good to know. I am one of those old fashioned types that likes to have physical copies as well as the digital.
