TWM Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Or in other words: more realistic animal behaviour in Pilgrim Mode. The wolf/bear AI until now seems to have only three modes:1) stalking2) rushing to attack3) fleeingThis leads to some pretty silly scenes in Pilgrim Mode, where one can run towards a bear and scare it away, or practically jump on a wolf while it's devouring it's kill and make it run.I mean, I like being able to hike and not have to worry about wolves hundreds of feet away coming rushing at me to tear me to pieces, but when I provoke a wolf by trying to steal it's kill, I think it should stand it's ground.Neither would a bear run like a scared little puppy on sight. It would either walk the other way, or communicate it wants me to leave.I'm not sure how I'd want the bear to react when it finds me in it's cave (after all, we're talking about Pilgrim Mode), but I'm sure something could be arranged - again, it could discreetly walk away.
danicusrex Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 +1, +A million times this! I love the rate of decrease in stats on Pilgrim, but I'd really like a bit more animal risk here and there. Sort of a Pilgrim PLUS mode, I guess.
