octavian Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 There's a kind of video glitch I've been getting since before .256 where, apparently, sun rays glitch out, or parts of them, for a very brief amount of time.https://youtu.be/GBnzbtrg8SoThe video was recorded in .258 on high quality at 48fps and the glitch lasted for one frame. But I still get this kind of glitch if I'm not recording, so at 60fps, or at 300fps if I uncheck v-sync, it makes no difference, it still happens, and it always seems to last one frame (if I'm not recording it's somewhat hard to tell); just in case this helps with something. Also, I have been unable to replicate them in the sense that once I get one, whatever I do to get the "same" one again, in the same place, going back and walking the same, whatever, does not replicate it.And here is the frame itself.
Jeremy JPOW Powell Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I'm not seeing it in the video, but I believe I've seen this before myself. I'll wander around various light shafts I believe it's to do with those. Hopefully this is something we can fix on our end and not another Unity issue.Jeremy
octavian Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 In the video it's right before the 3 second mark, you can select the playback speed from the youtube gear thing, set it to 0.25, that might help seeing it. In any case, the frame is taken from that video.
