Foxen Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 You're speaking 'fire'...in that case I assume that it was outside?Could it be...the weather was 'bad'...was it?
hastaluego Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 You're speaking 'fire'...in that case I assume that it was outside?Could it be...the weather was 'bad'...was it? Yes. It was outside. It was safe place, without wind. Indicator showed that fire must lit for 5 hours. Then it became 5-9 minutes in one sec when i was throwing more wood.
selfless Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Fire duration suddenly reduced and capped at 9 minutes is telltale of wind blowing on your fire.Wind must have shifted on you.Wind will blow out already lit fires.Blown out fires have 9 minutes maximum life.No amount of fuel will raise life above 9 minutes. No other indication is given. Edit: Actually, you can see the smoke blowing out of your fire sideways, too. So there's one other indication...
Guest mcopeman Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Selfless is right. It sounds like your fire blew out in the wind. Anytime a fire jumps down to 9minutes this is very likely whats happening.Melody~
