BUG: Can put rifle away with F, can't requip with F

I'm fairly sure this is a bug. I can quickly put my rifle away with F, but to re-equip it, I either have to press 2, or I have to equip it from my inventory (which isn't very fast).

I'm on PC.

I just started a new game, went to the Trapper's Homestead, found a rifle and picked it up and encountered this. Thanks.

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot. Pressing 2 also only works one-way (when i'm equiping). When I press 2 again to put it away, it says "No weapons in inventory."

This is by design. 2 equips a weapon, H holsters it (F in your case) As for the message that pops up, that shouldn't pop up, and it will be fixed for next update.
