Lighting the next torch with the first

If I'm carrying two or more torches and my first one is almost burned up (some indication of this would be nice too), I would like to be able to light the next torch with the one that's almost up. (without using the first torch to light a fire and then the fire to light the second torch)

I haven't tried to do this either in the menu or by dropping a lit one and trying to light it like we can light it on a fire, but agree, this would be a good addition.

I also agree with the idea of including some kind of cues for item duration.

Now you got me thinking about the kerosene that we use for fuel for the torches evaporating and now want to pay close attention to the rate at which the torches degrade when not being used...

I just tried yesterday to drop a lit flare and light a torch off of it and it worked; seems your wish is already granted. It actually gives you the same looking option as it does when you're lighting it off of a fire from what I remember.

Torches don't degrade when not being used.

I'm with you on this. For now I'll record the total burn time and set my alarm clock for future reference, heh.
