Wolf Disappeared and Landed on My Head

Hey, so here's the log file. Not sure how helpful it'll be since I only thought to mention the bug later. But here ya go! By the way, I've loved the recent updates, this game is one of my favorites and it isn't even done yet.

I'm using windows 8.1.

It happened right outside the camp office by the lake, but not towards the lake, towards the tracks maybe 50 feet. The wolf was about 20-30 feet away from me and it was maybe snowing a little. I remember it was doing that following behavior where it doesn't go in for the kill yet, and I thought I was safe.

The one thing I'm not entirely sure about is whether it teleported or another one spawned on me. Because I faintly remember seeing it for a moment even after the wolf appeared on me, but I'm not 100% on that.

I'll check this out. Disappearing wildlife has been on my list for a while. The teleporting onto your head is a new development in this endeavor. I'll take a look and ask Tech see what they think could cause a wildlife to gain the powers of teleportation.

Since we're on the topic of wildlife landing, in .244 I was at the pond in ML and a wolf shot down straight from the sky - I can only assume - and immediately started its routine wander patrol thing. Since then I always loop buffer record my gameplay :roll:
