It seems to me that weather needs to be logged more so than anything else as I have found that I am experiencing more blizzards or high winds than anything else.

I am currently on day 37. I have crafted deerskin boots & pants (trousers in UK!) as well as the rabbitskin mitts. I am about 5 hours into crafting the wolfskin coat (spent 8 days trying to get my last wolf skin only to end up with 5 spare over a 2 day period LOL).

I could put down what looks like exact times but I havn't actually written them down so I will estimate for now and update over the next few days with actual data recording.

I can say in complete confidence tho that I have had 2 days in a row of 4-6 hours of blizzards from 13hours daylight remaining to 9-7 hours remaining.

followed by 2-3 hours of high winds and then 4 hours or so of fair weather (snow or fog).

I find on many days that the weather is better (not showing as ???) during the night which is completely useless really.

I will add I have also had 2 days of solid sunny weather without incident but this has only been once and most fair weather is limited to 2-3 hours daily.

The most intriguing part is this. I may have an awesome day like letting a wolf kill a deer than I kill the wolf and harvest both (I do this as much as I can) and maybe I caught 4-6 rabbits in my snares. I make it back to my main base of operations only to be confined there for at least 24 hours due to severe weather. Even my wife commented on this while watching me play and said it is like the game knows you've had a good day and wants to balance it out. now if this happened once in a while I would say it is coincidence but this has happened probably 6 times in my 37 days. too often to be a coincidence I think.

But as I say I dont have recorded data yet and I will supply soon.

Saw a wolf running for something (couldn’t see it) followed and found a dead wolf! Lit fire to harvest (and defrost as was frozen 3.8kg meat) and moved to see if I could spot the wolf I saw run off (it couldn’t of been the frozen one obviously). It was the other side of a dip and I didn’t see so attacked me (fought off very successfully as only lost 40% condition).

Bad things always feel like they last longer than good, that's for sure. Some players have definitely had some runs of bad luck with weather, but that's how it goes! Glad to see your log is showing nothing out of the ordinary so far. Thanks for taking the time to share it!

Xbox user. When hitting bad weather, blizzards and such, try sleeping or occupying time for 3hrs. Now over 100 hrs of play, and never been boxed in doors. Not sure accurate weather can be recorded by the log.

Allso, after waiting 3hrs, once going outside, give it a minute to change.

Not a TLD loyalist, just observation on xb.

Exeception to this 3hr rule is forestry towers, then, already being outside do not visibly peter out till you reach the bottom of the tower.

Yeah I am always doing something during bad weather during the day. making water, fixing clothes, crafting etc. Wasted time is bad news so I try not to waste it
