Footstep sounds

Something small that I had recently thought of while playing, and now I just CANNOT get it out of my head every time I'm walking around in the game, which is..all the time!

I noticed that even when my character is only wearing socks or even going barefoot in the farmstead (and basically anywhere else), the footsteps sound as if she is still wearing boots. I think it would be kinda cool to have different footstep noises on different surfaces depending on the state of dress of the character's feet. Like I said, nothing big, but it's a small detail that keeps nagging at me now.
