With such a widely varied international community, it's easy to see how some things might get misinterpreted. No one in this thread has a history of being overly hostile, so I think it's just best for everyone involved to move forward understanding that tone and message are not always best conveyed through text. This is a lesson for those posting, as well as those reading.

Please do remember that if someone has said something you feel is unnecessarily offensive or aggressive, we ask that you report that user's post and move on, rather than engaging and trying to handle the issue yourself. If it's a simple misunderstanding, as I believe this was, we'll all work through it together.
