asavarserkul
I wanted to make a suggestion to add a button for contacting the admin on the frontpage if someone has a problem. And maybe you can move the fixes and Updates in the other posts to your fixes topic, then its all together. P.S. When I make a post there is always an "read-only error" but he creates the posts normally.
Kessa
I think normal messaging is fine. The admins can be reached through the announcements though it might be nice to have a post with the different responsibilities for each admin! So, for example, for forum issues, we'd talk to Pablo. logang
I'm with Kessa in that I do not think we need a button to contact the admins, they seem like they are doing a great job keeping up with things and I think them logging in every now and then to check on things is better than a possible constant distraction that the button may impose. Plus when you tag someone in a post it sends them a notification.
Hinterland Raphael van Lierop Posted November 2, 2013 Hinterland Share Posted November 2, 2013 If you have any issues, please contact us any time. Myself, or Alan [Hinterland], and we'll have some other Hinterland people in here (even) more regularly starting soon...
kopfstoff
hmmm, not axactly fitting the thread title, but kinda: seems like i am unable to "reach" Hinterland people who got a spacebar hit between the name and that [Hinterland] "tag". like @Raph [Hinterland], @Alan [Hinterland]... you see what i mean? is there any way to fix that or am i doing something wrong here? like i am doing it right now, there's a wrong person getting a notification about my posting or the name isn't found at all. ArrayKnight
None of these seem to work: @Raph [Hinterland] @Raph_[Hinterland] @Raph%20[Hinterland] @Raph [Hinterland] @Raph [Hinterland] @'Raph [Hinterland]' @"Raph [Hinterland]" @(Raph [Hinterland]) @[Raph [Hinterland]] @{Raph [Hinterland]} The only way I can get to have a complete link is to build the link manually: @Raph [Hinterland] Output: @Raph [Hinterland] The problem being that I don't believe that this will notify the user that they have been mentioned. It would appear that the Hinterland team has broken their own rules: Hello Hinterlanders, The Forums are finally online! Well, it took a bit of time to get there, but we thank you for your patience and hopefully the wait will be worth it. But before that, a few really important notes: Your forum Username is based on your Kickstarter Backer name. The Forums will not permit Usernames to have spaces or funny characters, so if your Kickstarter Backer name has a space, it has been converted into an underscore (_). For example, the Kickstarter Backer Beardly McPancakes would have a Forum Username of Beardly_McPancakes. Fortunately, @Pablo, the forum administrator is still addressable. Not sure if we need to move this over to Forum Suggestions. It appears that both the space and the brackets are not being registered as part of a username. pablo
The only special chracter that works in an hashtag is the underscore.

Hinterland Raphael van Lierop Posted November 12, 2013 Hinterland Share Posted November 12, 2013 You can PM any of us, if you need us, easy peasy.
Hinterland Raphael van Lierop Posted November 15, 2013 Hinterland Share Posted November 15, 2013 Just a quick update on this -- We've updated all the former [Hinterland] team names to use the format: Name_Hinterland, so that you can message us using the @Raph_Hinterland format. This should make it easier for you to get in touch with any of us. We're also working on a solution for backer labelling. Hopefully we'll have that in place early next week.
