Birch and Maple trees

I'm trying to find a Maple tree to craft a bow in Pleasant Valley and at the moment I explored the whole map 2 times.

I found 4 Birch tree spots but 0 Maple.

My question is: is at least a spawn of each type granted in each map or do I have to travel to other maps in order to get it?

Well, I'll be damned. Tracking an injured bear he brought me straight to 3 Maple trees hidden behind a hill at the very border of the map... So it IS there
