Cancelling carcass harvesting causes bug

I began harvesting a rabbit carcass for its hide and gut (I had already harvested its meat hours earlier) and realized that since the carcass was frozen, I would prefer to use my hatchet instead of my hunting knife, so I cancelled the operation almost immediately. When I switched to my hatchet and attempted to harvest the skin and gut, I wasn't able to.

Clicking on the harvest button only caused the clunk sound effect and I noticed that a "harvesting meat..." caption had appeared at the bottom of the screen (even though I was not harvesting meat). Simply cancelling out of the interaction and trying again removed the bugged condition, but I was able to reproduce the bug each time I tried (twice).
