Twisted ankle into bug

So i twisted my ankle in one game then run into a cabin. Inside the cabin i looted things and so i crouched. Pressed ctrl. What happens then is some bug. So the way the ankle thing work is it goes through a cycle so periodically you take a soft step or whatever u call it.

And i think i was at a very specific place in this cycle that when i pressed ctrl or crouched a bug happened. Gameplay wise the bug didnt do much so its more of an graphical issue. The screen freezed for a very short time and then i was crouched. So i think the twisted ankle animation doesnt go well with the crouched animation.
