Isn't it possible that some homes might have a pressure tank and you could get so many liters from faucet until pressure drops?

Also there might be one hand dug well around the farm in pleasant valley wit rope and bucket for drawing water. Time for harvesting water this way might be same as melting snow. Wells are ground temp and do not freeze.
