THE LONG DARK Updated to v 2.43

Hello Community,

We have just released our v2.43 (156485) Hotfix for THE LONG DARK (including Survival Edition) and TALES FROM THE FAR TERRITORY. This addresses one major issue.

GENERAL

*Fixed an issue that caused items and structures to appear invisible, or partially visible.

 

Please visit our Support Portal (or consult our Known Issues page) if you encounter any issues while playing the game.

Deservedly so...  Though I doubt they get the luxury of lie ins ...

I've been studying in a program of geology for 9 years, I've been sick three times and had to pause my education thrice, but, however now I'm almost finished and I am studying Spanish and German

Neat..   I've done a bit of German,though I'm incredibly rusty these days... I'm sorry you've been ill,that sucks..  I hope you're doing better now..

Back on topic though,, still no update..   it could be Microsoft being slow,nothing new there  though

@Leeanda I believe this was a Hotfix for a bug caused by yesterday’s 2.42 visual enhancement update for PC. As such, this would not extend to Xbox. My conclusion is based off a personal interaction I had on BlueSky, though, so take it with a grain of salt until confirmed.

Thank you.. it'd explain a lot..  though I wasn't aware it caused any bugs like that..

When they announced the enhancements they said consoles (specifically XBX and S and PS5) would be getting them in mid-June.

Im glad they caught this one. I haven't seen any new visual bugs since the update. I've found an old one (rock is invisible at the rope between PV and TM, but havent seen any new stuff yet.

Gonna keep looking though. Gotta keep the Bug hunt going to squash them bugs.

Visual Enhancements aren't available for consoles yet. Stay tuned.

I know.. thank you .. 💗it was my presumption that it might've been a general fix for everyone, rather than related to the visual update..

Looking forward to the console update though😊
