Brad Simmons
I was going to put up a screenshot, but for some odd reason it doesn't show up when opening up the pic. There's this logo that I can't seem to figure out how to disable. It's annoying me during game play. It says something like this "PHYS X CPU." It's been showing up since the latest update. Anyone know how to make it disappear?
Bill Tarling
Here's the solution pulled from the 2K Forum at http://tinyurl.com/ng6enp3"It's because you or someone on your computer enabled the "PhysX Visual Indicator" from the Nvidia control panel. Open the control panel, click "3d Settings" at the top, and uncheck the visual indicator option (only one in the menu). Should take care of the issue."Hopefully that does the trick for you
Brad Simmons
Ok there problem solved. But the weird thing is that I never did enabled the "PhysX Visual Indicator." It first started showing up as soon as I got The Long Dark updated to V.226 and later.
Guest Alan Lawrance
I suspect it only starting showing up after v.226 since that is version where we starting using Unity 5 (which has a brand new PhysX engine). This is really good info to know though, as I can see how it would be pretty annoying. We'll add it to our Technical FAQ.
