JErosion
its kind of minor but it is distracting. I haven't been everywhere but I noticed in on a rather bright and clear morning while coming from the Lake trail to the first three fishing cabins
Guest Alan Lawrance
This is a Unity 5 problem with shadow casting on terrain. They are aware of the bug, and we are hoping for a fix soon. Sorry for the issue, I know it can be pretty distracting.
goji
It's indeed very annoying.. So maybe you should leave unity5 as "test" version? Since it sounds like fixing the issue will take quite some time..

Bill Tarling
??????????????You're going to need patience (not just a few days)... The devs already said it's an issue with Unity 5, and they're working with Unity to have it fixed... No it doesn't mean waiting for that issue to be resolved and then redoing all the Unity 4 changes again. This graphic issue isn't a game breaker... a little annoying at first maybe, but not a game breaker to warrant scrapping all the current positive performance and game enhancement changes to Unity 5.The game is still in alpha, and issues are being fixed - not every fix is immediate. DenverDad
It's indeed very annoying.. So maybe you should leave unity5 as "test" version? Since it sounds like fixing the issue will take quite some time..It will eventually get fixed. The benefits of Unity 5 from a sheer performance standpoint make it worth it even with this bug. RJIII
My mistake the 9 votes are how many votes I am allowed to make. Who knows how many it will take to actually get the issue looked at but its in the top 30 :]
