Bear Attack in Pilgrim

I was playing in the pilgrim setting in the game, and I went up to a bear and shot him. Instead of the bear running away, like the others did, I ran up to me and attacked me. And I was brought down to 9%. Then when I just walked up to the bear, it ran away like it would usually do in Pilgrim. Do bears still attack in pilgrim? I was really confused when it just ran up and attacked me, the wolves had all ran away from me when I went up to them. I have no idea how this bug happened.

Not a bug... even in Pilgrim, bears can and will get aggressive with you if you attack them. However, if you leave them alone, they should clear away from you safely.
