I found these pictures I drew about a year ago when I had an Idea for a New Map. “The Rampart Range would be The first Region of the Interior Mountains of Great Bear Island. Before the collapse, It was a thriving part scientific and cultural part of great bear almost acting as a Scientific Park. The 4 Main Hill’s of Rampart all had structures built on top of them. One with a Shortwave Radio tower, One with The Great Bear Observatory, another with the Rocky Lookout and a now Desolate Cabin, and the 4th with a lighted Star atop a Large Volcanic Rock that The People of the Nearby town of Rockville have made as a sign of hope during the dark winter months, the star now only lights up during the Aurora. Rockville itself is a small town that was nearing its 100 year anniversary when the Collapse happened. The Nearby shop ‘Ellie’s Haberdashery” was stocking up with winter clothing and food when the First Flare occurred. When the Flare Occurred a “Great Bear Charter Services” DHC-6 Twin Otter was flying above and crashed into the Cabin of the Rocky Lookout before crash landing in the forest below, part of it’s horizontal stabilizer is still lying next to the cabin (concept art of that coming soon). Below the Observatory lies the Ranger Hut, a small cabin bearing a resemblance to the Camp Office of Mystery Lake. In the Tunnel that connects Forlorn to Mystery Lake, a set of tracks break off towards the Interior mountains, the first region it passes through is Rampart, The Lonesome Station was the Train Station for the residents of Rockville, the Main Road comes from Keepers Pass and leads further into the Interior Mountains. Along the western edge of the region a smaller lookout sit’s atop a cliff that requires 2 ropes to climb, This is Aurora Point. there are a few other locations across the region I didn’t mention (mostly because I forgot to name them or just forgot their name). Rampart connects to 3 Regions, Mystery Lake through a Tunnel and a Cave, Keepers pass through the main road, and a mysterious 3rd region Deeper into the Interior Mountains through the main road. The Range has been Beautifully Treacherous Region of Great Bear with Staggering Hills and Steep Cliffs that have called the most Adventurous of Travelers since it’s discovery, It’s Weather can change at any minute and the wildlife are fierce, Do you have what it takes to Conquer The Rampart Range?”

Thanks for sharing.. 😊.  You put a lot of thought into it and it looks great.

Thank you, I based a lot of the location ideas after the places near where I Live, My town has a Star on top of a volcanic piece of Rhyolite from some volcano a long time ago, We light it every year from mid-November to mid-January, The Mountain range nearby is known as The Rampart range, It has a lookout tower at the top of it's highest peak and is over 100 years old, that was my idea for Aurora Point and the Rocky Lookout, (It's my favorite place to hike in the area)  and I thought it would be cool to have an Observatory in the game. I thought you guys would complete the map of Great Bear before moving somewhere else and I remember hearing about The Interior Mountains in some lore video. I really love the game and have a lot of cool idea's for concept art and map ideas. I can't find my sketch book that I left them in though. I hope you consider thinking about adding it to the game.
